The Dollar index is classified as a currency future index that is traded on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). It measures the value of the U.S. dollar relative to the majority of its most significant trading partners and is composed of a weighted basket of currencies which are measured against its value as follows: EUR 57.6%, JPY 13.6%, GBP 11.9%, CAD 9.1%, SEK 4.2% and CHF 3.6%.
