India’s Positive Vibe on the Cryptocurrency Market
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Indianc Minister of State in Electronics and Information Technology, said at the ITech gathering in an international sitting predicted that India will be the leading country in blockchain technology and application of Web 3.0. The minister supported the use of cryptocurrencies and deemed them as ‘harmless’. He added that the government would set less restrictive frameworks and pass more supporting bills to promote crypto projects.
As far as the legal procedures are followed, investors have nothing to worry about regarding their funds, he stated. MoS’s recent proclamation is in direct contrast to the RBI governor, Shaktikanta Das’s, view that crypto trading is a form of ‘gambling’ and should be banned. The change of perspective on the crypto market among India’s authorities is promising news, especially for Indian traders.
